John School (FOPP)
Prostitution Prevention Program for men who solicit commercial sex.
FOPP is an educational intervention program aimed at male clients of prostitutes. This course meets Health Code 169 requirements to reduce the demand for commercial sex trade and trafficking of persons by educating the offenders. This is a court mandated course for men to attend FOPP as a condition of probation.
The course is 10 weeks that focuses on professional counseling, the experiences and harms of prostitution, violence associated with prostitution, community health risks, human trafficking, and effects of prostitution on families and communities.
1st time offenders only.
No prior felony convictions.
No prior offenses of Section 20A.02, 43.02, 43.03, 43.04, or 43.05, Penal Code;
No prior offenses of Article 42A.054(a), Code of Criminal Procedure.
No pending felony charges under Chapter 481
